Gluten – The Wholegrain Truth. Part 2: The How

September 11, 2018 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Free

Suffering “pain” of any sort?  Arthritis (joint pain), fibromyalgia (muscular pain), anxiety/depression/neurological challenges/headaches/insomnia (brain pain), hair loss/acne/eczema/chicken skin (skin pain), fatigue (endocrine/mitochondrial pain),  heartburn/diarrhea/constipation (digestive pain), heart disease pain etc.?  Or get a “painful” autoimmune diagnosis like osteoporosis, PCOS, Hashimoto’s, Graves, MS, etc?   Gluten might be underlying these conditions and definitely is for some of these.  Ignorance is not bliss with gluten.  This multimedia Part 2 workshop is designed to review the confusion on gluten/grains and empower you on how to live truly gluten-free (if you so choose).   Part 1 attendance is encouraged but not required.

Specific topics:

Tips on living truly gluten-free from a 2 year grain-free warrior including:

  • Avoiding cross contamination, hidden sources and cross-reacting foods
  • How to live gluten-free with others who are not?
  • How to eat out?
  • What alcohol is safe?
  • How to be a gluten-free warrior label reader (with handouts)
  • Healing a “leaky gut” from Celiac Disease and Gluten Sensitivity
  • Is there a best diet for this?

N.B. This workshop is designed for both the layman and health professional

Testimonial for this Workshop:

Laura has a vast amount of knowledge in the field of nutrition but has the unique ability to deliver information in such a way that makes it seem attainable and not intimidating or overwhelming. After already living gluten free (10 years), diagnosed Celiac disease along with many family members, I was looking forward to this presentation.  I was shocked at how current her research was and immediately began taking photos of her slides and writing many notes, not wanting to miss a single detail so I could educate my family.  I highly recommend Laura as a holistic practitioner.
