My understanding of chronic dis-ease is evolving, waking me up to the faults of centralized medicine's approach, and confirming the impact that both diet and lifestyle can have.
I just finished another article by Dr. Jack Kruse titled "Quantum Engineering #58: Tetragrammaton Part 3 = Human Regeneration Driven by Melanin" with renowned music producer Rick Rubin.
It is the prelude to the third interview in an epic podcast series with Rick Rubin that "Uncle Jack" as we call him - this neurosurgeon, author, thought leader and mitochondriac mentor of mine takes part in.
I had so many insights, aha moments and a recognition that there is still so much to unlearn by relearning when it comes to this new field of Quantum Biology from reading this article. It reaffirmed once again that biophysics drives the biochemistry in mammals. It also contained this profound meme that had an impact on me.
My aim here is not to summarize the article – I highly recommend you start reading his blogs. They are challenging even to health professionals but are so enlgihtening, insightful and thought provoking that many of us stop everything to read them to decipher the key messages. Here I will share some of my simple insights inspired by the messages I took from it which I am now calling 4 Key Quantum Health Strategies to avoid Chronic Dis-ease.
Strategy #1 - Eat local food that is in season
Creating recent workshops has deepened my understanding of chronic dis-ease and woke me up to the faults of centralized medicine's approach to it. Firstly, diving into deuterium (the heavy isotope of hydrogen) in my 2022 Quantum Nutrition and my recent Leptin Reset workshop in 2023, confirmed my suspicion that both diet and my lifestyle contributed to my own autoimmune thyroid diagnosis and related thyroid/leptin resistance.
I then went down a seed oils rabbit hole. I learned that we have harmed so many of our colonies of mitochondria with these oils for multiple reasons. . Mitochondria are our water/Infrared (IR) light/ATP power engines of the cell. The biggie enlightened here in this article (beyond damaging cardiolipin in the inner membrane of mitochondria) is that seed oils contain varying amounts of Linoleic Acid (LA) which becomes a deuterium bomb in our hydrogen-fueled engines aka mitochondria. For the science geeks reading, deuterium specifically harms the ATPase nanomotor in our mitochondria. For the foodies/chefs reading, please know that Safflower and Sunflower seed oils top the list as high as 70% LA! I elaborate much more in these workshops in the dietary section.
How many of us nutritionists have encouraged you to favour these oils?
I was marketed this healthy concept of LA in 1995 in a University of Manitoba Nutrition for Health and Fitness class by a top Canola oil researcher. I encouraged all my family at the time to use Vegetable oil (ironically containing no vegetables but soy, corn, canola and cottonseed). I now see these as deuterium bombs for our precious mitochondria and avoid them as much as is possible. I will be forever sorry to everyone I spread that message to ) :
This is why I believe it's possible eating Carnivore, Clean Keto, pH Miracle, and Medical Medium Diets in the right Latitude have reversed chronic disease.
Truth be told, I am a closet Carnivore/Ketovore podcast junkie. I honestly get a dopamine hit hearing story after story of everyday people who were suffering a variety of severe symptoms of chronic disease transform their lives by changing their diet. Now I understand why. They stopped breaking their metabolic engines with Polyunsaturated Fatty Acids (PUFAs) like Linoleic Acid (LA) and keep their diets low in deuterium. I guess it's my version of watching the Biggest Loser on TV, but in this case they all seem to have permanent happy endings (some as high as 8 years on a Carnivore diet). This is unlike the contestants on the Biggest Loser that apparently all gained their weight back and more because they did not address their mitochondrial health.
I have also been fascinated by the pH Miracle/Medical Medium diets in my past. They both restrict LA-rich processed food But they have their challenges including a lot of plant defense chemicals and in the case of the Medical Medium diet, tropical fruits that can't be sequestered in a northern latitude. Sadly, I stayed too long on these diets in my Northern climate and paid some health consequences, one as simple as freezing over winter. When you come out of that deep sleep and know better, you do better. Today, I avoid the dogmatic diets and prefer what I term a Quantum Sunlight Diet - local, seasonal and latitude appropriate to one's postal code (or local to where you are visiting). It includes nuances like avoiding seed oils of course and other processed food that is high in deuterium, depending on the time of year. I have been coaching my clients privately on this and publicly through my Quantum Nutrition workshop.
In the process of creating my Sunlight Protocol, Blue Light Protocol and Cold Thermogenesis Protocol Workshops, I began to stir out of my "REM" sleep and develop the next 3 strategies.
Strategy # 2 - Get Enough Sunlight
Sunlight Deficiency stops melanin production in the skin. Melanin is a broad term for a group of natural pigments found in most organisms. The pigments are produced in a specialized group of cells known as melanocytes. There are five basic types of melanin: eumelanin, pheomelanin, neuromelanin, allomelanin and pyomelanin. Melanin is a hot topic now as we learn how much more it does for our health than help you tan. Forget wanting to be a millionaire, you should be striving to be a melanaire, rich in all forms of melanin as that is the secret to optimizing health.
We need melanin to detoxify heavy metals. The most common heavy metal in the body is guess? … deuterium!. One example of a high LA/deuterium diet is the Standard American Diet (SAD) high in PUFAs & processed food. Another is restaurant fare as the oil used is the cheapest to use for every profit-driven restaurant owner.
If you are eating a high LA diet and are also sunlight deficient, you have low melanin and this leaves you defenseless from the deuterium bombs you are eating. This scenario leads to both mitochondrial and metabolic dysfunction . Make sure you are making time for safe exposure to sun. Again my Sunlight Protocol workshop teaches how.
Strategy # 3 - Minimize artificial blue light exposure
Unpaired artificial blue light (especially at night called ALAN - Artificial Light at Night) does so much harm. Here are just a few of the 25 harms I have collected to date of Blue Light Toxicity (BLT):
- Causes Vitamin A to turn to its rogue form called retinal and destroy photoreceptors - not good!
- Shortens the lifespan of Red Blood Cells (RBCs).
- Induces Leptin Resistance - causing weight, sleep, energy and satiety issues.
- Destroys DHA fat, harming your cell membranes, circadian signaling, brain health that is 20% DHA.
- Destroys Melatonin - causing obesity, insomnia and potentially cancer.
- Causes a defect in mitophagy, the replacement of your mitochondria.
- Ruins the iron cycle in humans - leading to anemia or too much iron.
- Contributes to myopia - a lifelong dependency on glasses to see far away.
- Causes hypoxia in cells - breaks down melanin, causes fatigue and potentially cancer.
In fact, all non-native Electromagnetic Frequencies (nnEMFs) like wireless microwave radiation and blue light cause hypoxia in humans and drives the catabolism of endogenous melanin! Melanin is our wide band semiconductor that produces DC current and so much more. Basically, that means unpaired blue light uses up melanin faster than it can be renovated (even if you are in sunshine!). So in my conclusion, this is the most significant collateral damage that the artificial blue light bioweapon does. It puts you into melanin poverty - so much for becoming a melanaire!
Strategy # 4 - Introduce cold adaptation practices
Not adapting to the cold in a winter environment is a mistake. In winter, when sunlight is deficient in UVB frequencies and we either live inside or in clothes, we cannot renovate melanin. Cold adaptation and cold water therapy induce the creation of BAT (Brown Adipose Tissue) fat and it is the only option to stimulate “more robust frequency endogenous light generation. Moreover, as a result, more heat is produced, and melanin in our interiors becomes a better electrical conductor.” (Jack Kruse). Allowing yourself to experience winter cold to some degree should actually be the goal - without getting hypothermia or frostbite of course! Note my backpack here has spare clothes - safety first!
Next steps to avoid Chronic Disease
- Eat a local/seasonal/latitude appropriate deuterium-depleted diet
- Get your eyes and skin in the game of sunlight
- Get your eyes off blue-lit screens & LEDs or at least wear blue blockers
- If you live in a cold latitude, get your body out in that cold nature!
This is key IMHO to improving your chances of avoiding chronic disease that is so rampant today. These are some of my learned experiences:
- With today's environmental toxic load in this era, no one is not at risk of chronic dis-ease.
- Your health is your Responsibility.
- No one is coming to save you. Wake up. Getup. Show Up.
- Find those that can help you. Start with the foundation - Quantum Biology Coaching. Before you spend copious money on unnecessary testing/drugs/supplements.
- You need to be the change you need to see/be.
Improving Cancer Outcomes with Quantum Biology
