This Episode will Challenge You!
Luckily I have had a Biological Hygienist for a few years now so I was probably more prepared than some for the amount we learned in this podcast on how to best care for our teeth. I have also benefitted from several presentations Kelly Bento has delivered. Despite all that, I still found this episode challenging. Kelly inspired me to reevaluate not only some of my current dental health practices but to further improve my Redox potential. I now challenge you to listen/watch and take notes. Start with this paradigm shifting concept:
The Quantum Mom is back!
Kelly was on the podcast August 2024 which was the day I broke my tibia so Andeea had to carry this one alone: Ep12 QHP-How Red Light Therapy Can Aid in Recovery with Kelly Bento. Kelly Bento is a Quantum hygienist with prior experience in both conventional and biological dentistry. She is a fellow graduate of the Institute of Applied Quantum Biology. She has a keen interest in quantum biology and particularly red light therapy all inspired to help her brother who suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury.
Preventative Dentistry – some Best Hygiene Practices?
Here are some questions Kelly addressed with dental hygiene/cleaning:
- Toothpaste:
- Should we brush with fluoride toothpaste?
- What are the best toothpastes?
- Toothbrushing:
- Should we use soft or hard toothbrushes?
- When should we brush?
- Brushing the gums for increased lymph worth it?
- What does she think of the Bristl red light therapy brush?
- Rinsing:
- Mouthwashes – what is the Nitric Oxide connection?
- Water Piks – net positive or net negative?
- Is Xylitol safe?
- Essential oils
- Is Oil pulling worth the effort?
- Flossing – is there a downside? Are there safer flosses than conventional flosses?
- Tongue Scraping:
- net positive or net negative? When to do it?
- is it true that the tongue emits the most light (biophotons) in the body?
Fluoride
Just a extra I wanted to share from one of my mentors Carrie Bennett that I found researching for this interview. It may will help you understand Kelly’s reaction when I mentioned fluoride. Carrie once shared these negatives of fluoride use in the body:
- It harms our Mitochondrial as a toxin
- It compromises our collagen network
- It lowers our dielectric constant (ability to store energy in water)
Above list may also help you understand Florida’s new guidance here related to research on children’s lower IQ: Florida Issues New Guidance on Fluoride in Drinking Water
What if you build a lot of Plaque?
Kelly wants us to question the heavy buildup of plaque (which is calcium displacement). It leads to calculus which is an insulator that is protecting something from your environment. She mentioned the linkage between dental and arterial plaque and the heart/oral health connection. She has also linked excessive calculus with Vitamin D oral supplementation.
This threat from the environment she alludes to may well be a high blue lit and nnEMF environment like Wi-Fi, cellphone use etc. She sees calculus buildup especially at the bottom front teeth in tech workers and healthcare workers both working in blue lit/high nnEMFs buildings. Listen to the episode to get the whole connection. It makes sense though as nnEMFs cause Cell Danger Response and the opening of VGCCs (Voltage Gated Calcium Channels) to flood Calcium into the cells causing all kinds of downstream repercussions and fundamentally reducing your redox potential. Manmade EMFs are electron stealers from the body. We want to have a higher redox as this helps create a healthy oral microbiome. Kelly’s overall message is that having a low redox leads to all the teeth conditions we don’t want including:
- Calculus
- Periodontal disease
- Cavities
- Dry Mouth
- Oral cancer
- TMJ
- Thinning enamel
How do you raise your redox potential?
Hire an Applied Quantum Biology coach like me. We are trained to teach you how to donate more electrons and minimizing the electron stealers to avoid these conditions by improving your mitochondrial health to raise your redox potential for all the microbiomes in the body. Recall mitochondria are in constant communication with our microbiomes.
Dietary Recommendations for a Healthier Oral Microbiome
Dr. Kruse made this analogy above once “Parotid gland is like the pancreas gland”. Both provide digestive enzymes and we need to respect overburdening both glands. You dont want to overtax the pancreas or parotids with sugar or your teeth will pay the price (like the body gets Type 2 Diabetes).
Some other quick dietary tips she provided:
- limit your carbohydrate intake, as too many carbs are overwhelming for oral microbiome.
- Enjoy homemade bone broths as they help the collagen needed in gums especially
- Gut and oral microbiome = all one. Treat one to treat the other; harm one harms the other.
- Stop snacking
- Eat a deep nutritional diet full of minerals for the teeth
- Rinse with Quinton minerals or sea salt first thing in the morning (and swallow) before any cleaning – this helps feed the oral microbiome with necessary bacteria.
PS If you have watched my Leptin Protocol workshop or done my Leptin Reset, notice the similar themes all combining to improve your redox potential.
How to Use the Red Light Therapy for Oral Health
Please refer to Ep12 QHP-How Red Light Therapy Can Aid in Recovery with Kelly Bento for more guidance on Kelly’s invention The Torch (Soleil Well).
The Torch is a powerful tool in the oral cavity to use internally and externally for:
- trauma issues
- healthier gums
- sore throats/swollen tonsils
Hint: the brain can benefit from the Torch – it loves the intranasal NIR (810nm)

Finally – spot the Oral microbiome exchange
We had a brief visitor in this episode including a goodbye kiss…
Episode 26
Kelly Bento is the founder and CEO of Soleil Well, which is the highest quality red light therapy panel on the market (in my humble opinion) and in this episode we will learn why that is. She is also a biological hygienist with a unique blend of expertise in dentistry and quantum principles and that is what we focus on in this episode! Dental Hygiene through a quantum lens.
